Queen of the Point - Ventura 2024 Recap

Luella Pace showing us how to hang 5 and wave hi at the same time.

The Queen of the Point contest series is all about empowering lady longboard surfers by providing a safe and body positive environment to help female athletes achieve their dreams. Event stops include Ventura, Malibu and the Phillipines featuring tons of amateur divisions from 10 & Under to 60+, along with an invite-only, elite Pro division.

Ventura was the event opener for the 2025 season and Mamala wetsuit riders had multiple showings in the Finals for Pro, 14-16 and 11-13 divisions. Congratulations Luella Pace on making the Pro Final (1st in Semifinal heat with a 15.30 total!), Cash Hoover on taking the 14-16 division crown and Hazel Dixon for winning the 11-13 division crown!! Shoutout to Ellie Sutton who also made the 11-13 division Finals. We are honored to support so many amazing surfers in the event and be the official wetsuit sponsor for the QOTP series!

Learn more about the wetsuits that played a warm part in supporting many of our riders and Finalists in Ventura.
